The 2nd KEH was a cavery regiment of the British Army formed in 1914, which saw service in WW1. It was formed of British colonial citizens who were in Britain at the start of the war. the regiment was disbanded in 1917 with many of its members being transferred to the tank corps.

this large brooch is marked ‘Sterling’ on the reverse along with makers initials TLM (Thomas L Mott) Red, white, blue, yellow and green enamel.
